Our Story

A new chapter.
For more than a decade, the brick colonial at 140 Mahaley Avenue has been home to trusted dental care for Salisbury families. In 2026, the practice formerly known as Radiant Smiles Family & Cosmetic Dentistry became Okonic Dental — a new name honoring the doctor who leads it, and a renewed commitment to the patients who made it what it is.
Everything you valued stays: the welcoming team, the comfortable office, and honest, unhurried dentistry. What's new is the standard we hold ourselves to — every visit should feel personal, every recommendation should make sense, and every smile should leave here healthier than it arrived.

Dr. Kelvin Okons, DDS
Owner & Founder of Okonic Dental
Dr. Kelvin Okons is a dedicated dental professional and proud owner of Okonic Dental in Salisbury, North Carolina. A graduate of Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, Dr. Okons earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2019.
With a passion for transforming smiles and improving patients’ quality of life, Dr. Okons focuses on comprehensive dental care, with a particular interest in dental implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), reflecting his commitment to advanced training and clinical excellence.
As the founder of Okonic Dental, Dr. Okons is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care by combining modern dental technology, advanced techniques, and a compassionate approach. His mission is to create confident smiles while building lasting relationships with the community he proudly serves.
